アメリカはハリケーンにより株式取引を中止

大型のハリケーン・サンディが接近しているため、明日のニューヨークの株式市場が取引中止になるようです。
国内では台風で証取が取引中止するというのはないと思いますが、アメリカのハリケーンはそれとは比べものにならないのでしょうね。

ニューヨーク証券取引所と、ハイテク主体の米ナスダック市場は２８日、ハリケーン「サンディ」の接近に伴い、２９日の株式取引を中止すると発表した。
３０日の取引も中止する可能性があるという。米メディアによると、天候が原因で同証取の取引が中止となるのは、１９８５年のハリケーン「グロリア」以来、約２７年ぶり。
ニューヨーク証取を運営するＮＹＳＥユーロネクストは「人々の安全を最優先に考えた措置」としている。（共同）
